Earle Family Photo Session - Furman University - Greenville, South Carolina

I had such a good time with the Earle family photo session at Furman University! This past Saturday we met in the morning for a nice mixture of posed and candid shots. It was a beautiful morning and beautiful family. We wandered the campus, the kids played around and we even did a 1 year old cake smash <3

Here are some of the highlights:

Greenville, SC Wedding at St. Anthony of Padua & Commerce Club | Andrew & Christina

Andrew and Christina’s wedding was such a lively and fun day! We started out at the Hyatt Regency Downtown for Christina’s getting ready photos while Andrew got ready in his new beautiful home. When Christina was done getting ready, I captured the first look between her and her dad before the three of us hopped in our private limo. We made our way directly to the ceremony and then family photos at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. After the ceremony, we took straight to Rock Quarry Garden for beautiful bridal party photos! Andrew and Christina killed it in front of the camera! They are beautiful people! The reception was held at The Commerce Club and boy was it LIT. Andrew and Christina’s family are some of the funnest and hard partier’s that I have seen. They were dancing the night away, and we even slightly recreated the last supper scene at one point in the night. See all the action below!

New York City!

From March 8-11 I was in New York City to photograph Daryl Wilson, along with cityscape photos. Below is a little sneak preview of some of the photos. Some of the locations photographer were: SoHo, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan, World Trade Center, Financial District, One Hotel at Brooklyn Bridge, Intermix on Prince Street, Williamsburg, Greenwich, Chelsea, Upper East Side, Central Park, and the Flatiron district. There’s a few other models sprinkled throughout this gallery as well.

Zealyn - West Coast Tour

Zealyn in LA

Zealyn in LA

For the next two weeks, I will be touring with the artist Zealyn ( on her west coast tour! If you followed American Idol in 2013, you might know her as Angie Miller.

Here's a little history. Back in 2010, my best friend David and I were touring with a non-profit, and we had a show in the New England area. As we arrived to the venue, the other event we were partnering with was mid-show. David and I walked into the main room, where we saw this sixteen year old Angie Miller singing her heart out on stage in front of 1000 people. She was incredible, and David was pretty much in love at first sight. When we met her, I remember her saying "When I turn 18, I'm trying out for American Idol!" Long story short, she tried out and made it all the way to third place on American Idol in 2013. Fast forward a few years and David married Angie. Now her stage name is Zealyn, and her music is top notch.

It is really awesome that I'm getting to tour with my best friend and his wife. I know this is going to be a very memorable tour, and we will have awesome experiences. Every time I reflect on my life, I'm just so thankful for all of the people that I've met who turned into friends, and all of the traveling that I've been able to do. It's truly been a dream.

People often ask, "how do you afford to travel so much?" Here's the key- be generous. God wants us to be generous. With time, with love, with money etc. Whenever we give something, we really are gaining. It's super backwards, but time and time again God has proved this true to me. This principle has NEVER failed me. Since 2007- I've been out on my own in the world and have always hovered around poverty level income. Yet I've traveled every state except Alaska and Hawaii, lived and traveled in Europe for four months, and continue to travel the US pretty extensively. Just since 2017 began I've been to Dallas, Nashville, Sea Island Georgia, Chicago, Boston, New York, Seattle, Detroit, Savannah, Asheville, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and will be going to Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, Redding, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Boise, Winston-Salem/Greensboro, and as well to Guatemala and back to Europe.

It doesn't make sense for me to be able to afford all this. It doesn't make sense for me to still buy people's meals, support missionaries and give money away. But giving is the very thing that is sustaining me. Giving is the very thing that enables me to do exactly what I do. Holding onto "our money" or holding onto our time or only focusing on ourselves is really not how I've found to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Anyways, today is preparation to hit the road. Let me tell you, David and Ang work their butts off. Ang has organized this tour like a BOSS, and DJ has been working a more than full time job + practicing for tour + living a life. It's kinda crazy what a team these two are.

Tomorrow we drive to San Francisco for our first show. Whoop! Here's the tour schedule, so let's hang:

I'M PUBLISHED! And I'm official!

Hey Y'all!

I've been involved with photography since high school, but until recently I never pursued it as a career. About a year ago I was given access to a nice camera (thanks, Josh!) and opportunities to utilize it (Thanks Josh Wilson!), and soon realized that I quite enjoyed getting back into photography. I always snapped photos on my cell phone- which I think turned out quite well if you ask me!- but never wanted to jump into photography as a business because everyone and their mom has a photography business. What inspired me to start my own was the fact that people who want photographs will begin with the photographer that they know.

Enter Jack Robert Photography. Currently my life consists of working at Swamp Rabbit Cafe along with running my photography business, creating videos for Take Heart Church, and having a life. Therefore I've been quite busy as of late, but it's been paying off. Some months ago, Swamp Rabbit Cafe had a staff party and officially opened up the new wood fired pizza oven. I decided to snap some photos of the pizza and the event, which in turn gave Swamp Rabbit some professional photos, and gave me some publicity. The local publication, Community Journals, wanted some photos of the pizza for an article. Take a guess at which photos were sent over? Some of my photos from that nite! Shortly after this I was contacted by Community Journals and they expressed how I was able to capture this event under relatively difficult photographing conditions, and asked me to start freelancing for them. I obviously was excited about this opportunity, and have been freelancing from them since! Below are a few photos of what's been published so far:
